Today on Tshangla Shimin, we feature Hon. MP Loday Tsheten from Gangzur–Minjey. Born into a humble family, his father wished for him to join the armed forces. He was almost selected, but at a crucial moment, he had to give up that dream and continue his education. What seemed like a setback became a blessing in disguise. He went on to serve the nation for 25 years as a civil servant , including six years with the Anti-Corruption Commission and later as the Director of the Department of Macro-fiscal and Development Finance under the Ministry of Finance before stepping into politics to serve the people as Member of Parliament.
