What is a genetic algorithm? In this video, I describe a project in which bots must learn to fight independently. The rules are similar to boxing and sumo. No neural networks, everything is based on standard archaic algorithms. This time, we'll be trying out a genetic algorithm. We'll train teams and hold a championship. I'll also be conducting some experiments. We'll try a genetic algorithm without crossbreeding. We'll test the hypothesis that children will statistically perform worse than their parents.
