Pick a Room at The Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

It's our first stay at the Island Tower! The tower is a new DVC section of the Polynesian Village Resort that gives more room style choices. The building is a little controversial with some purists saying it doesn't belong - too close to the Grand Floridian, or the theming doesn't match the original - but what we found was that while it does have it's own more modern style, it's VERY Polynesian, uniquely designed and very beautiful in its own right. We booked a Duo Studio, which is a very small room, but we got to check out and spend some time in several of the larger rooms and they are impressive!
