You think of black and white games... then colorful ones, consoles galore, all with a plethora of intros that could almost serve as multi-generational touchstones. Somewhere between a giant Proustian madeleine and a pillar of video games, the story of Nintendo's success and the conquest this Japanese titan has been waging for over 40 years is clearly no longer a secret to anyone. However, behind this polished image, this image of a family-oriented and mainstream company, lies a completely different side, far less known to the general public but very often right under our noses (if not all the time): that of a ruthless company, capable of waging battles as aggressive as they are disproportionate whenever it deems it necessary… which happens often… very often! Whether it's about illegal ROMs, copyright, music, or fan games… it's simple, they're everywhere, tackling and dominating professionals and amateurs alike with absolute authority and intransigence. Nintendo is waging a real war!
