------------------------------------------------------------------------- SUBSCRIBE LIKE SHARE ------------------------------------------------------------------------- #d_todo #electude #mechanics ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 221 | ELECTUDE LEVEL #1 P0689 ECM/PCM RELAY LOW INPUT In this video we teach you how to diagnose a vehicle using a mechanical simulator called Electude which consists of 3 levels and when finished it generates 3 different ones so we are at level #1 which indicates the service order that the car does not start and it is our duty to determine what it has, so I started by opening the ignition switch and immediately noticed that the fuel pump did not activate and when checking the electrical diagram we discovered that the K2 relay was outputting a current to feed the F2 fuse which in turn feeds the injectors and that is why the car does not start because it is not getting gasoline to it but when checking the relay we discovered that it was in good condition and that it had 45 Ohms of resistance and that is what the manual indicates and still no current came out of it then checked the actuation feeds of the same and it turns out that we were getting 12.0v feed + and 12.0- meaning it was getting ground and power but the relay still wouldn't activate and that was strange and studying the diagram further I came to the conclusion that one of the relay lines was faulty and checking the line that came from pin #8 of the ECU to the relay we saw that the cable was broken and when we replaced this line everything went back to normal and the car started and that's how we passed our exam... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- FACEBOOK   / profile.phpid=100091328833842   ------------------------------------------------------------------------- OUR CHANNELS D_Todo https://www.youtube.com@d_todo9012 Piston Bikers    / channeluckevirrfpy1nfwax1ykudbw   ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SUBSCRIBE & ACTIVATE THE NOTIFICATION BELL ------------------------------------------------------------------------
