Tender jack pieces are cooked by adding salt and tamarind. Tamarind is added must, because tender jack doesn't have it's own sour taste. For masala I added fried red chillies, mustards, hing and methi seeds. This is made a paste with saturated salt water. This masala paste is mixed with cooked tender jack pieces. Pickle tastes good with rice and rice porridge. Better to prepare in less quantity, as it has the shelf life of very few days.
