In this video, Master Yuan covers what you need to do to get the most out of your training. If you are training Kung Fu or any other Martial Art, if you do Tai Chi, if you practice Qigong there are great tips in here. These are strategies the Daoists (Taoists) use for better quality training and how to get the best results for the time that you put in. He also covers the role of rest and how certain kinds of rest will contribute or hinder your training. He also covers the Daoist approach to Self-Defence, asking “what are you trying to get from Self Defence?” He shares anecdotes, humorous stories and concrete daily advice on how to improve your health and your life through your training, using examples from the Wudang 5 Animal Qigong form. This is an amazing view into the life of someone who has dedicated himself to Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qigong and Health Cultivation and has decided to share it with his students and the world to help others. This is from a previous video I shot while training in China with Master Yuan. The video was long and the quality poor. I’ve tried to edit it into more digestible sections and I’ve tried to clean up the video quality and the audio quality and levels as best as I could. The video is in English, but I also added English Subtitles in case that will help it be more clear. This was shot on a poor camera in poor lighting with a poor microphone. So, my apologies for the quality, but I hope the subject matter is still interesting and helpful to you.
