Clinical Meeting of the Nephrology Department – ​​Kidney Hospital / UNIFESP At this week's Clinical Meeting, Professor Dr. Marco Aurélio Sáfadi presented the main advances in the prevention of major respiratory diseases in the adult and pediatric population: Influenza and Respiratory Syncytial Virus. Dr. Marco Aurélio is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Santa Casa de São Paulo, Vice-Director General of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Santa Casa de São Paulo, and President of the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics. The session also included a presentation on the Influenza Vaccination Campaign for hospital staff by Dr. Maria Lúcia Vaz, Technical Director of the Kidney Hospital, and on the immunization guide for kidney transplant recipients by Dr. Vitor Mendes, Coordinator of the Post-Transplant Outpatient Clinic.
