A tour of a 9 month old Purple Passion farm - My mentors farm located near Thika town.

This is a short tour of a 9 month old orchard that is currently being harvested. This video gives in details the importance of identifying a mentor to guide new farmers in their farming journey. This is the farm that I bought seedlings from to start my Naivasha project after a careful examination of their orchard and being satisfied that the vines were disease free and with excellent production. One tip I share with farmers is that whenever you want to establish a fruit orchard, its always good to visit the farm where the seedlings are raised to get to see the mother vines or trees that were used to prepare the seedlings.
