Peter O'Toole Interview on Charlie Rose | Special Edition (2000)
Actor Peter O'Toole (1932 - 2013) appeared on Charlie Rose several times during his career. This interview is from a special edition taped in 2000 called "A Conversation with Peter O'Toole". O'Toole talks about his childhood and career as well as his family and colleagues. He reminisces about age and youth, obsessions and preoccupations, his father's death, marriages and divorces, along with mentioning of course Lawrence and more recent projects. As usual, Peter proves to be an articulate storyteller, funny and charming. There are moments in this interview when you don't really want to laugh but can't help it. Even in death humour is always appreciated - and you can see where Peter got his from ;) "What a pity - just when I'm getting the hang of it" Enjoy! Note: Sorry for the sound only playing on one speaker, that's due to the original file I'm afraid. You may be able to fix it by changing the sound settings of your device.
