Southern California Logistics Airport (KVCV) | 13,000 Feet, 500 Airliners & $1 Meals
Fly with us in our Piper Arrow into bustling Southern California Logistics Airport (KVCV) aka Victorville Airport onto Runway 17. We’ll talk about why this is a great place to stop before heading into the LA basin, what to expect to find here and why we’ll be back. As always, we’ll show you around the FBO, take you along as we explore Victorville and the surrounding cities and show you why you should fly OVER this airport AND we’ll finish off with a very cool tail cam view of the formerly longest runway we’ve film to date. Million Air is your only option BUT in true Million Air fashion they are incredible and their pricing is reasonable! FBO Million Air FBO is the only FBO on field and they are fantastic. You’ll find a comfortable seating area with a coffee bar and a café. Ask about the quiet rooms hidden in the back of the FBO, they’ll provide the pillow and blanket. The Theater has big comfy recliners, a large screen with an impressive sound system. The small Conference Room has everything you need to run a meeting. The café has plenty of seating and a varied menu of tasty options. The FBO has crew cars to make getting around much easier. Breakdown of fees for our Piper Arrow III for JULY 2025 (3 Hour Stay) $0 Ramp Fee ($30 fee waived with 15 gallon fuel purchase) $6 Facility Fee $4.40 Avgas Taxes & Fees $102.32 Avgas (15 gallons @ $6.82/gal) $112.72 TOTAL FUEL There is only full service fuel available here. We paid $6.82/gal during our trip in July 2025. RESTROOMS Restrooms are located inside Million Air FBO. CREW CAR / RENTAL CARS / RIDESHARE Million Air has crew cars available for your visit. The Mercedes SUV we got was newer. Don’t forget your USB-C to USB-C cord to connect your phone to the car for navigation. Be sure to call ahead and let them know whether you need a crew car or rental. Rental cars for longer stays can be arranged through Million Air if needed. FOOD The Jet-a-Way Café at Million Air has a range of food options for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is served between 7am-11am. Lunch is available from 11am-1:00pm. The café is closed Saturdays, Sundays and Government Holidays. The double cheeseburger comes highly recommended and we enjoyed the chili here. Best of all, the pilot and one passenger eat for $1 each – this includes an entrée, chips and a beverage. It’s a great deal! Victorville has a small Route 66 Museum with history a memorabilia that could be a fun stop. The remnants of George Air Force Base are in the process of being demolished. The street access has been blocked off and the area is surrounded with chainlink fencing. There are some very interesting videos on YouTube showing what this area looked like before demolition. Thanks for watching! See you next week as we explore a new airport!
