¿Destaparán pruebas del supuesto apoyo de Benedetti a Paloma Valencia?

Lawyer Jaime Lombana will file a complaint with the Prosecutor's Office's Cybercrime Unit regarding the alleged hacking of Senator and candidate Paloma Valencia's cell phone. The Democratic Center senator's campaign received information that some of her private conversations had been leaked, including some with Interior Minister Armando Benedetti. Valencia explained that the conversations with Benedetti were of an institutional nature and concerned primarily security matters. Last night, Valencia announced via her social media account that she had granted Lombana power of attorney to represent her: “I have just given power of attorney to lawyer Jaime Lombana to investigate the possible hacking of my phone during the campaign. We need to know if it's true and who is doing it, because this is not a minor issue,” Valencia said. Amid the controversy, fellow presidential candidate Abelardo De La Espriella posted a message on his social media accounts referencing alleged leaks and questioning the campaign strategies of other political factions. “The ironies of life: I'm being accused of dirty tricks in the campaign. If I were to publish the information I'm receiving, along with chats and conversations between one of Petro's most detestable and corrupt officials and a certain campaign, engaging in their usual political maneuvering, it would surely cause a huge scandal. I don't like negative propaganda because it doesn't bring honorable victories. I've always fought fair and square. In politics, you defeat your opponent with votes, without tricks or deceiving the voters; with me, what you see is what you get.
