Port of Grays Harbor Porter No 5. A 2-8-2 Mikado, this engine was the workhorse of Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad for decades. Relegated to a dusty back corner, we were told this engine was beyond all help and would never be restored. We're finding out for ourselves. We're a nonprofit organization and despite our irreverent tone, we are passionate about heritage rail preservation, economic development, and especially - Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad.
