Santa Rosa de Viterbo: La Niña de 12 Años que ATERRORIZÓ al Emperador | Rechazada y VENGADA
Saint Rose of Viterbo - The Girl Preacher Who Defied the Empire and Was Rejected by the Church Discover the extraordinary story of Saint Rose of Viterbo, the 12-year-old girl who became one of the most controversial and fascinating figures of the Mesoamerican Age. Her life was short (she died at 17) but so intense that it changed the history of Italy. In this video, you'll discover the most shocking facts: ✅ She began preaching in the streets at age 12, defying all norms. ✅ Exiled by Emperor Frederick II for being "dangerous." ✅ She prophesied the emperor's death—and it came true exactly. ✅ Rejected by the convent she dreamed of entering (she had no money). ✅ She resurrected her dead aunt when she was only 8 years old. ✅ She walked on fire without being burned to prove her faith. ✅ Her body remains incorrupt after 770 years. ✅ The posthumous "revenge": her body was placed in the convent that rejected her. Saint Rose was born in 1233 in Viterbo, Italy, into a humble family. From the age of 3, she showed signs of extraordinary holiness, but it was at age 8 that she performed her first great miracle: she resurrected her dead aunt. At the age of 12, she began preaching publicly in the squares of Viterbo against the Cathar heretics and in support of Pope Innocent IV, in the midst of the war between the Papacy and Emperor Frederick II. A GIRL doing this was absolutely scandalous for the time. Her speeches were so powerful and drew such large crowds that Emperor Frederick II considered her a political threat and EXILED her along with her entire family when she was only 12 or 13 years old. During her exile, Rosa publicly prophesied: "Emperor Frederick will soon die, and we will return to Viterbo." When the emperor died exactly as she predicted in 1250, her fame spread throughout Italy, and her family was able to return in triumph. To demonstrate the truth of the Catholic faith to the unbelievers, Rosa WALKED BAREFOOT ON BURNING COALS without suffering any burns—a miracle witnessed by hundreds of people. But here's the most controversial part: Rose spent years trying to enter the Monastery of Santa Maria delle Rose in Viterbo, but was repeatedly rejected because her poor family couldn't afford the required dowry. She died at the age of 17 without ever being accepted as a nun. However, "divine retribution" came: When her body was found perfectly incorrupt years after her death, the Pope ordered that it be placed inside the convent that had rejected her. The very nuns who had scorned her for being poor had to eternally venerate the girl they had humiliated. To this day, more than 770 years later, her body remains completely intact and visible in the Sanctuary of Saint Rose in Viterbo. Every September 4th, Viterbo celebrates the spectacular "Macchina di Santa Rosa" – a procession where 100 men carry a 30-meter-tall, 5-ton illuminated tower through the medieval streets, considered one of the most dangerous processions in the world. 🔔 Subscribe for more impactful stories of saints 👍 Like if Rosa's story touched you 💬 Comment "Saint Rose, pray for the rejected" 📤 Share with someone who has been rejected or humiliated ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🙏Welcome to the Canonical Channel!🙌 Here, we delve into the inspiring stories of Catholic saints, uncovering fascinating details about their lives and the miracles of faith that transformed the history of Christianity.
