Pierre Soulages: The Radiance of Black
Born 1919 and now at the age of 101, Pierre Soulages is one of France's greatest living painters. His artwork is the incarnation of one color; Black. His interest in the color is "both as a color and a non-color. When light is reflected on black, it transforms and transmutes it. It opens a mental field all its own."
