BLIND, DEAF & MUTE COOKING CHALLENGE!!

My Granny's Wheat-free Roti Recipe: (Makes 6-7 rotis) Boil 2 cups of water While the water is boiling on the stove add… 1 tsp canola oil 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup rice flour Stir & turn the heat off Add to the rice mixture: 1 cup cubed sweet potato (The sweet potato should already be steamed and soft) 1/4 tsp xanthan gum Mix and then leave the mixture to cool down The rest of the process is the same as making normal wheat rotis but make sure the soft dough is not too sticky. In a bowl, keep aside dry rice flour, in case the dough becomes too sticky. Brush the dough with canola oil when it’s on the pan cooking Btw I’ve failed every time I tried to make these (It’s the rolling part but…I’m learning...sorta😅) Don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t turn out great the 1st few times. These allergy-friendly rotis are softer and more likely to break than normal rotis so it’s quite difficult to roll😅 (Pro tip: rather make smaller quantities and eat the roti’s hot because once they cool - they’re more likely to break.
