Eight years of planning, three and a half weeks of construction – and the result is a home theater that is rarely found even among high-end enthusiasts. With the Black Corner Cinema, an uncompromising reference cinema has been created in the greater Vienna area. The project was planned and built by Heimkinobau.de with the goal of combining picture, sound, and spatial quality at the highest level. Highlights include a 4.40-meter-wide, automatically four-way masking screen, a Barco Freya+ projector, madVR Envy Extreme MK3, a Trinnov Altitude32 with WaveForming, and a MAG Theatron Avalon Screenwall with eight 21-inch subwoofers. Furthermore, the new Avalon surround speaker series is being used here for the first time worldwide. But exceptional home theaters are not created solely through high-quality technology. It is the interplay of room acoustics, lighting design, interior architecture, and the perfect integration of all components that creates the experience that distinguishes this project: a true cinematic feeling at a reference level.
