DOUBLE steam at Chester!!!! The Duchess and Bahamas!! 6233 & 45596,19th November 2022

A great day for steam at Chester!!! Only one steam hauled tour, but 2 great locos! First seen ,45596 'Bahamas' arrives with The Christmas Cheshireman from Bristol. After reversing the train into the REC, the Jubilee tops up with water and coal, before heading back to Carnforth and then home to the KWVR. Meanwhile 6233 'Duchess of Sutherland' arrives from Tyseley, and after also topping up, couples up to the stock and finally leaves, but only to Chepstow, due to Rail union strikes beyond. 19th November 2022
