Do not use Internet Explorer to download the files from yuneec.com - crazy as it sounds, IE can change your file extension to ZIP, and your Yuneec equipment won't recognize it. =========== This episode is part of a series of videos to help you learn how to fly your Typhoon H drone. Periodically, Yuneec issues an update to the firmware for the Typhoon H aircraft, gimbal and ST-16 transmitter. The updates published between November 2016 and February 2017 had problems. For this reason I encouraged pilots not to implement those firmware updates on their systems unless they were already experiencing firmware-related issues. In February 2017 Yuneec put out a firmware update and many users have reported it to be very stable. Yuneec UK has issued a training video to show the process for installing the firmware update. On my video, I'll demonstrate how to update the Typhoon H firmware with the original technique of placing the update files on a media card and updating directly from the card.
