Today, we are taking a massive step forward (literally) in our Fanhome Build the Star Wars Darth Vader subscription. We are tackling Stages 81 through 86, and the Dark Lord is finally getting some serious weight at the bottom! ⚙️🏗️ 🛠️ In This Episode: The Great Fix: I had to fix my "back-to-front" calf mistake from the last pack! Sometimes you just have to stand back and look at the whole leg to realize something’s off. 😂 Leg Armor & Straps: We’re assembling the left leg armor with some tricky black-on-black detailing. 🧥 Faux Leather Mastery: I am blown away by the shrunk-fit faux leather on the leg sheaths. The stitching is perfect! I’ve never seen anything like this in a model kit before. 👞✨ Heavy Metal: We’re installing massive metal slabs into the soles of Vader’s boots to keep his center of gravity low. He’s definitely not tipping over! ⚖️ The "Sole" Mystery: I made a tactical decision to leave the adhesive soles off for now. Why? I’ve got a hunch about how those legs attach to the boots, and I don’t want to block the screw holes just yet! 🧐 👉 BUILD YOUR OWN VADER!
