Oberhofen Oberhofen am Thunersee is a municipality in the administrative district of Thun in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. The village in the Bernese Oberland lies at an altitude of 568 meters on the banks of Lake Thun on an alluvial cone, right at the exit of the Justistal valley. St. Beatus-Höhlen The St. Beatus Caves are a group of stalactite caves below Beatenberg near Interlaken in the canton of Bern. The cave system is located on the northern edge of Lake Thun. It is accessible with a guided tour around 1 km into the interior of the Niederhorn massif. According to legend, St. Beatus died here. Part of the Camino de Santiago runs below the caves. Interlaken It is a Swiss town and municipality in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the canton of Bern. It is an important and well-known tourist destination in the Bernese Oberland region of the Swiss Alps, and the main transport gateway to the mountains and lakes of that region.
