I didn't understand how they made such a beautiful light effect (promo video), but it turned out that it was even more beautiful than I could even imagine! I have an old phone and it doesn't make videos well enough, but I hope that I was able to show at least part of that magical light effect. The more miniature houses I have, the harder is to choose my favorite! But I can definitely say that this is the most beautiful winter kit I have ever seen! It was designed by one of the best designers (Cuteroom)! This thing is really important, as it turned out that the brand is much more important than the beauty and style of the promo photo, since this will affect the ease of assembly, the quality of the parts and the clarity of the instructions. Tutorial book and all the instructions are very detailed and clear. Let me remind you that I bought all the dollhouses myself with my own money, I don't have any store and I don't resell what you can buy from the manufacturer and I don't receive any income from sales. Thanks to this, my reviews are always fair and honest, if the set is good I will praise it, if I didn't like the set, I will also write this! Even in the best set I will find something I could change to make it easier and better to assemble! I think that my way of gluing the cords is more convenient and simple. It's much easier than trying to glue the background to the mirror, then glue the cords to the mirror, then cover these cords with a thin paper frame. I didn't like that we need to glue a mirror on the back. It can be damaged by hand when gluing all the small details. Therefore, please do not tear off the protective film from the mirror, it's better to leave it until the miniature is completely finished and all the little houses are glued. I wrinkled the mirror foil, I noticed that the wrinkled structure gives more interesting highlights. This one can be hard as your first DIY kit! Same time I want to say that it's very beautiful kit and it's really hard to show all this beauty on video! Actually all efforts was worth it so I can highly recommend this amazing DIY dollhouse kit! I made every tiny detail with all my love and I enjoyed every step of this assembling! About glue: I use B-7000 and I'm very happy with it! It's slow-acting, 100% transparent, invisible and holds great and it's perfect for gluing anything that looks like glass, the tube has a nice nozzle and needle designed cap that prevents clogging, all the small glue drops are well controlled. Before this, I tried many different ones but B-7000 glue is much better! But please note that after gluing the walls, it's better to wait until they stick well, so it's better to glue the walls and leave overnight. Also, it's a slow-acting glue and you can move it once it was glued. Please be sure that it will hold all the parts as tightly as fast action super glue, but if you glued something with super glue, nothing can be moved or changed. About HP: Yes, here we can see some connection with HP movies but there are no titles, text or mention of the author. If you are interested in my opinion: I was a big fan, that's obvious, I don't stand with the author and gave away all my HP books, but I still love the first movies. It was a lot of hard work by very talented people who, as we all know, don't stand with the author of the books. I think the books would never have been so popular and successful without the movie and, first of all, without this wonderful acting. I won’t write here each of my favorite actors who don't stand with her but it means a lot! To be honest, I didn’t know about those books before I watched the movies. I can say that nowadays HP is a big part of culture and even folklore, it's much more than just books, so I don't think we should ignore our favorite old movies because of only one person. About me, I definitely won't be reading any of the new books, I still haven't seen the new fantasy beasts movies, and I haven't bought or played the Hogwarts game (to be honest, I'd really like to, but no, no and one more no, I won't do it), in other words, everything that currently brings income to the author of books. This kit was made by an independent company from China and has no relation to the author of the books. Also, I can't be sure, but I think that designers of this kit most likely did not read any HP book and were inspired only by HP movies. Thanks for understanding!
