If packaged in 25-gram sachets (in 7 x 10 cm OPP plastic, as shown in the video), this recipe will yield approximately 12 packets. If sold, the price per packet can range from IDR 1,500 to IDR 2,000. This depends on the initial investment and market share in each region. In my area, as of January 2024, the price of 1 kg of peanuts was IDR 28,000. So, for this recipe, the cost of peanuts is only IDR 4,200. However, if the peanuts are sorted first—I usually choose really good, wrinkled peanuts—then 1 kg of peanuts will only yield 700 grams after sorting. So, to produce premium Disco Peanuts, you need high-quality peanuts, which cost Rp 40,000 per kilogram. If the price is Rp 40,000 per kilogram, then the cost of 150 grams of peanuts is Rp 6,000. That's just for the peanuts themselves, not including the costs of oil, flour, spices, and gas, which also increase the selling price.
