The Overkill-JBD BMS needs to go. First Upgrade of the Battery Shelf.

Since we built the Battery Shelf 4 years ago, it stayed most of the time untouched. But it is now time to upgrade the system and start modernising it. We will, of course, keep the original functionality, features and the design of the Shelf. The first step involves an upgrade of all three BMS inside the Battery Shelf. The top shelf still has the original Overkill JBD BMS installed, so we will have a look how many cycles it has counted during the last 4 years since installation. The replacement is quickly done thanks to your initial design of the shelf and how the BMS are connected. Seriously, the disassembly took less than 2min! I replace the Overkill with a modern JK PB-BMS as this will later be our master BMS and needs to have all the features and functions of a master. The installation takes a while to get cabling and balance wires back connected to the battery.
