What Happens When Strangers Say Yes in Israel? 🇮🇱

What happens when you invite 100 complete strangers to dinner in a foreign country? I traveled to Tel Aviv, Israel in January 2026 to find out! What started as a simple idea quickly turned into a mission across the city — convincing restaurants to donate food, borrowing furniture from neighbors, and somehow preparing a traditional Shabbat dinner for people who had never experienced it before. Along the way, I met people from all different countries and religions, explored parts of Tel Aviv most tourists never see, and discovered why Shabbat is about much more than just food.
