TRON Uprising bridges the gap between TRON (1982) and TRON Legacy (2010). In this Disney XD Prequel series, the writers of TRON Legacy explore concepts they did not have time to in the film along with new ones. The series follows a young program named, Beck (played by Elijah Wood) who is recruited by Tron (Bruce Boxleitner) to be his successor as he is no longer able to fight against Clu and his forces.
