Has the budget really helped first homebuyers?
Today, I asked the Prime Minister in Question Time: Twice in this parliament, the Prime Minister has been directly asked to guarantee housing prices will not tank. Twice he refused. The Prime Minister keeps claiming his budget is helping first home buyers. Can he tell the House whether the number of first homebuyers has actually increased since the budget, and by how many?
