✨ Technical Assistant? Yeah, we're adding that to the résumé. 👏🏾 For too long I've been keeping the behind-the-scenes magic all to myself — and honestly? That stops now. This time, I'm bringing you with me. I had the honor of joining Grantmakers for Girls of Color for their very first Convening in Charlotte, NC — and I wore a few hats. Before I took the stage in full host mode on the final day, I spent most of the conference as the voice behind the room — your girl was announcing, setting the tone, and creating the energy that carries a whole conference. And let me tell you… I was in my element. There is nothing quite like using your voice to make a room feel alive — to guide an audience, build anticipation, and create a space where people feel seen and excited for what's next. It's one of my favorite things in this world, and I'm so glad I finally let the camera catch it. To Grantmakers for Girls of Color — thank you for welcoming me into such a powerful, purpose-driven space. The women I met in Charlotte left a mark on my heart, and the work being done for women of color and gender-expansive youth gives me so much hope. 🤍 This is just a little peek into this little life of mine — and there is so much more to come.
