Vidi Aldiano is an Indonesian artist, singer, commercial star, and musician. His full name is Oxavia Aldiano and he is of mixed Chinese and Minangkabau descent. From childhood, Vidi was raised in a family with a strong appreciation for music. Since he was 18, Vidi has been studying piano; his mother is a piano teacher. Vidi also has a singing talent; at the age of 2, he won a singing competition. As an adult, Vidi participated in the singing talent competition, Indonesian Idol, in 2006. Although he was not lucky enough to advance to the next stage, Vidi was supported by his father, Harry Kiss, to release his album, Pelangi di Malam Hari, in 2008.
