Conrail In Its Final Month Around Elkhart Indiana

The first scene is an eastbound at Smilax Rd. between New Carlisle and Lydick, followed by a couple trains at CP 426, the west end of Elkhart yard. The next few scenes are at Elkhart by the depot. The conclusion is at Goshen, with a local working a plastics place, plus a couple of eastbounds on the mainline. These were taken late in May of 1999, just days/weeks before Conrail was split between NS and CSX.
