MOVING DRAINS/ Home extension vlog

Moving drains & building over drains is one of the least glamourous parts of building an extension but it's often unavoidable. In part 4 of my home extension & renovation vlog I discuss the challenges we faced when we needed to build over our drains and the costs associated with moving our drains. Costs vary but £1,500 is a conservative estimate of the cost of moving our drains based on some planning work plus 3 days labour for 2 people & £600 material costs. There was also the £299 fee we had to pay Thames Water for the build over agreement.
