Lister D and compressor winter project finally got sparks on the lucas RS1 Magnetos
I purchased this Lister D petrol (gasoline) engine that came on a trolley with an Aerograph air compressor. This video details what needed doing to the magnetos in order to get them to live again. They were used in the village forge in Cullworth (northaptonshire). I would be interested to hear from people who either have seen this running or know of similar setups in forges. I would also welcome information on some of the things shown in the video such as the handles on the trolley. Please get in contact if you know anything about aerograph compressors especially if you have technical drawings. Last, but not least, if you want to receive notifications when more videos in this series are uploaded please subscribe to the channel.
