The school said that without a diagnosis they can't offer support to your child? That answer may no longer be sufficient. Ordinance 421/2026 changes the conversation between family and school. Now, enrollment, Special Education Services (AEE), and support professionals cannot be treated as something that depends solely on a medical diagnosis. The central point becomes different: observing the real barriers that prevent the child from participating, learning, communicating, and developing in the school environment. In this live session, I will explain directly what the family needs to understand before entering a meeting with the school. We will talk about: – what changes with Ordinance 421/2026; – why the absence of a diagnosis cannot be used as an excuse for the school not to act; – what a case study is; – the difference between PAEE and PEI; – what documents the family can request; – what questions to bring to the meeting with the school. The idea is not to turn the family into a lawyer.
