The study begins with a fundamental question: what is the Church? Starting from Acts 2:38–39, it is emphasized that the Church is made up of people who have repented of their sins, received forgiveness through Jesus Christ, and accepted Him into their lives as Lord and Savior. Thus, the Church is not primarily a building or an institution, but the living community of believers transformed by God's grace. The presentation also highlights the continuity between the Old and New Testaments. In the past, the glory of God (Shekinah) manifested itself above the ark of the covenant in the sanctuary, in a presence so holy that any improper approach could bring death. Today, the same divine glory dwells in the hearts of believers through the Holy Spirit. Christians are described as the new temple of God, the place where He chooses to manifest His presence.
