Walking up this mountain, watching the sun dip into the golden Mediterranean sea while wild goats pass by, filled my heart with so much peace and gratitude. I’m so happy to share this breathtaking moment with you! In this video, we are hiking the famous Aphrodite Trail in Akamas, which is hands down one of the best hikes in Cyprus! I’ll show you the exact route I took: We started at the official Baths of Aphrodite parking lot and walked the circular loop clockwise. First, we headed along the stunning coastal path towards the Blue Lagoon to enjoy the crystal-clear water views. From there, we took the steep climb up to the summit of Moutti tis Sotiras for that incredible golden hour and sunset. Finally, we completed the 7km loop by walking back down through the peaceful forest path to our starting point.
