Way back in 1994, Green Day released Dookie, an influential album with a stellar guitar tone, the core of which came from a modded Marshall 1959 Super Lead. With many modding their own amps to reflect that legendary tone, Marshall has finally teamed up with Billie Joe Armstrong to launch his signature amp, meaning you can now get that tone with those mods from Marshall themselves. It seems to us that this should be the best way to achieve that Green Day sound.
