El Silbo Gomero - Gobierno de las Canarias (1/4)
A video produced in 1997 by the government of the Canary Islands. It's all about the super-cool linguistic phenomenon that is whistled Spanish! NOTA BENE: since this video's publication, the supposition that whistlers can only distinguish six whistled "phonemes" has been discredited. This is Part 1/4 of a tape that I obtained back in '07. Believe it or not, it took a while to find a place in L.A. that would rip a European VHS to DVD for me.
