I wanted to be a writer, but being a writer isn't enough; you have to sell your books too, and I sold them on the streets and in restaurants! I was a Portuguese language teacher in public schools, sold makeup, cake, handed out flyers on the street, etc. There's a lot to go on. I've learned that things are never the way we want them, they're the way they need to be. I've been working in theater for 12 years at Arte in Cena. The first pamphlet I made was in exchange for singing lessons, because the student owned a printing company, and I couldn't afford the pamphlet. That's how the school began!! We learned to be strong, we reinvent ourselves constantly because no one needs to be limited in this life! And no matter how big the struggle, what matters is how you react to it!
