Affordable PA power amps/amplifiers don't have to be bad. The T.Amp E400 and the Reloop Dominance 702 power amps are examples of simple and inexpensive entry-level PA amplifiers. These two stereo amplifiers not only cost the same, but are also said to be almost identical in design. I've already tested both of them in terms of performance. There aren't any major differences.
