The maru gata style iron tsuba is the traditional double ring used by the famous Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. A unique feature is the integrated Bo-Hi on the blade. The purpose of the Bo-Hi is to help reduce the weight of the katana benefiting some advance cutting techniques that requires the katana to change direction rapidly.
