Musashi Hand forged 1060 carbon steel Katana (real hamon)
This is a review of the Musashi silver series 1060 carbon steel Katana • 40 1/2" Hand Forged Katana • 1060 High Carbon Steel Full Tang Blade • Maru Gata Iron Tsuba • Brass Fuchi and Kashira • Maru Kitae Forging Method Gunome style hamon pattern. The maru gata style iron tsuba is the traditional double ring used by the famous Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. A unique feature is the integrated Bo-Hi on the blade. The purpose of the Bo-Hi is to help reduce the weight of the katana benefiting some advance cutting techniques that requires the katana to change direction rapidly.
