Shocking Discovery: 2024 & Newer Broncos Have a Hidden Tow Package! | What Does This Mean?

I made a shocking discovery that the 2024 and newer Ford Broncos come with a 7 pin already installed, even if you don't have the tow package! I don't have the factory tow package on my 2 door Bronco,, so I set out to add one myself. Since Jim had successfully installed a tow package on my original Bronco before our cross-country camper adventure, we thought this would be a straightforward DIY job. However, what we found was surprising—2024 Broncos without the tow package already have a 7-pin connector pre-installed, but it's not active! After some research, we learned that a module is required for full factory integration due to the Bronco’s CAN bus system. This left us with two options: a full factory install or a more affordable DIY tow package solution.
