Pride and Prejudice (1980) Miniseries Review
Here are my thoughts on this lesser-known miniseries adaptation of Jane Austen's novel, which stars Elizabeth Garvie as Elizabeth Bennet and David Rintoul as Mr. Darcy. Yikes, have I had trouble with this video! It was supposed to be done a few weeks ago, but I got a cold and had to postpone it. Then when I finally had it filmed, I suddenly realized halfway through the editing process that I wasn't happy with it. GAH. So I redid the whole thing. THEN I was almost done editing the second time around when something weird happened and the video just broke. The whole file refused to play. I don't know, it's like this adaptation didn't want to be reviewed... But after much frustration, I guess I've conquered it. Here it is, and I hope you enjoy it.
