Wielce Skromny Człowiek. Pan Stanisław.
"I like authentic people. People who don't act, don't wear masks, they just be who they are. That's all. Simple, ordinary, sincere, and exceptional. I like real people, people worth being with, not being around. With whom time stands still, for whom you don't have to choose your words. I like people who make me better. I like people who make the world a better place." ~ Tomasz Antosiewicz 🖌 While in Nowy Dwór, I came across Mr. Stanisław Roszkowski, nicknamed "Listewka," a modest, shy carpenter. Imagine, convincing him to even take a photo was almost impossible. And honestly, I don't know how they managed it. 🖌 Mr. Stanisław can do a lot of things. Take raking, for example, where he'll gather the materials from scratch and finish it himself. Something that was once commonplace is incredibly difficult to find today. Mr. Stanisław can even make a ladder without nails, even axe and hammer handles. He can repair many appliances. I really liked the handmade models. 🖌 Imagine the manor house in Bobr Wielka, made on a model. Here – a request to the management of the Podlaskie Museum of Folk Culture – perhaps we could establish a small collaboration. The manor house is at your place, but this model, made by the artist himself, is beautiful. The smallest details, such as the crane, the ladder wagon with horses, the decorations. This is the first time I've seen such wonders. 🖌 Furthermore, this humble man will create street signs, carving out each letter with exceptional precision. He devoted a great deal of time creating signs at the Regional School in Nowy Dwór. And he did it for free!!! He wove golden thoughts, inscriptions, and figures on board or on plywood. He etched letters of thanks to soldiers and border guards. My dream is for us to share our words of gratitude with him! I'll leave my courtesy phone number: 609632503
