EGYPT: PRESIDENT HOSNI MUBARAK INTERVIEW

(16 Nov 1994) English/Nat Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak has warned that there could be an upsurge in international terrorism if the problems of the Middle East are not tackled soon. In an exclusive interview with APTV, President Mubarak said that the Palestinian people had to see the fruits of the peace process in material improvements in their daily lives. If international aid was not forthcoming young Palestinians would soon turn to violence in order to voice their grievances.
