West Harrison Fire Department Engine 267, Purchase Fire Department Engine 240, Rescue 30, Car 2413, and Engine 241, and Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department Car 2244 and Tower Ladder 20 responding to smoke in the structure on Westchester Avenue in the Town/Village of Harrison, New York. Car 2411, Car 2412, Engine 238, and Ladder 53 from the Purchase Fire Department, and Car 2243 from the Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department also responded to this call, but are not seen in this video. Originally, the Purchase Fire Department was dispatched for a commercial alarm. Engine 238 arrived on scene and advised they had a smoke condition on the first floor and requested to upgrade the call to a structure fire assignment, which automatically adds several mutual aid assets. At around the same time, the nearby Rye Fire Department was operating at a structure fire and was already utilizing mutual aid assets from the area, including Engine 241 from the Purchase Fire Department. This resulted in a slightly altered assignment for the Purchase call. The incident in Rye was quickly placed under control and Car 2413 and Engine 241 were able to clear that call to respond to this call. After investigation, Car 2412 reported units had determined the source to be a burnt up disconnect on an exterior air conditioning unit and placed the situation under control. The units seen responding are: Engine 267 - 2016 Seagrave Marauder II (1500GPM/750GWT/30GFT) Engine 240 - 2003 Seagrave (1500GPM/750GWT/80GFT) Rescue 30 - 2004/2016 Seagrave Car 2244 - 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe Tower Ladder 20 - 2011 Smeal Sirius/Spartan (100FT MM) Car 2413 - 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe Engine 241 - 2020 Seagrave Marauder II (2000GPM/750GWT) This video was taken on March 12th, 2025.
