Walking Tour With Gibo Giyu, Hanshi, Shorin Ryu Shubu-kan
This year’s special video in which we share the cultural experience on Okinawa is called “The Walking Tour with Gibo Sensei.” Gibi Giyu Sensei was only six years old in 1945 when the Battle of Okinawa took place as part of WWII. Gibo Sensei kindly shares his story with Jason Perry and Josh Simmers as we walk around the village of Uchima Urasoe, Okinawa (just north of Naha). Please enjoy this very special video with this 84 year old man that does not stop smiling.
