Uganda Nurses &Midwives Union condemns removal of medical intern allowances

Uganda Nurses and Midwives Union has urged government to reinstate medical intern allowances to strengthen internship, clinical rotation and practice to improve quality. The Union called for the need to strengthen the health systems with adequate, compete, responsive motivated and productive health workforce. A hungry medical intern is a danger to patient o the bed.
