The mystery of Bevis the Dog's grave at Duxbury Park in Chorley, Lancashire

Hot off the school run Mr H takes a relaxing bimble by the River Yarrow and through the woods of Duxbury Park in Chorley, which was once home to the powerful Standish family in Lancashire to seek out the grave of the family pet 'Bevis the Dog' which according to local legend is said to have saved his family by alerting them to a devastating fire seemingly from beyond the grave.
