I finally completed my trip around Kyushu! It took me 80 days since leaving Hokkaido, a total of 76 days, to complete the journey. It was about two and a half months, but the time flew by. Even so, there are still so many places I haven't seen. My last stop in Kyushu, Beppu, will be a leisurely four-day exploration. This post covers the first half of that trip. I thought Beppu was best for its hot springs, but the food was amazing too! It felt like I was constantly soaking in the hot springs, working up an appetite, and then eating again.
