Logan Maxwell Hagege Openning at Gerald Peters Gallery 4/18/24
Logan Hagege's solo show opening was tonight at the Gerald Peters Gallery of the Upper East Side. Logan is a western painter, so I wasn't the only one wearing a Stetson hat. The art was beautiful to see in person. I follow him on instagram but in real life the brush strokes and colors and sheen really sparkle. The method of purchase was unique tonight. It was a lottery. Potential purchasers place write their names down on a piece of paper and place it in the box with the picture of the painting desired. It created an extra element of desire. When purchasing the artist's book, I asked about this peculiar purchasing process if it was normal. The attendant said she had never seen it before. All in all, it was a lovely adventure up to the upper east side with beautiful blossoms along the way.
